Clevedon is a true community both in spirit and feel and certainly in looks. In town you have cafes and a great restaurant, fish n chips, hairdresser and barber, a real country-type pharmacy, medical rooms, florist, the best of fishing and boating supplies (and all the right advice!) Farmer and rural supplies, the local hotel which has an excellent restaurant, horse activities from the World famous Polo grounds and club to pony clubs. Vineyards with acclaimed locally made wines, country and beach outings/drives that are simply superb and yet everything is so close to Auckland.
Do yourself a favour come and check out the Clevedon Farmers Market on Sunday morning and the craft market at the community hall in the afternoon to see just how special this place is. Kind of like New Zealand as it once was and yet New Zealand at its best today!
