Castaways owns a lease on 10 acres of D.O.C. land at Karioitahi Beach and has developed a superb events and conference centre to cater for weddings, conferences and accommodation within an hours drive from the City.

There are 15 privately owned fully self contained spacious chalets, able to be sited at Castaways under a Deed of Covenant with the Franklin District Council, the co-holder of the head lease with Castaways, which runs until 2057.

Under a management agreement, Castaways rents out your bach to their clients to provide an income designed primarily to cover all maintenance costs normally associated with owning a holiday home. Castaways will keep your asset in immaculate condition and always ready for you to arrive and enjoy recreational time away from the pressures of city life.

There are no management fees or body corporate costs. The lease is fully pre-paid in the purchase price, and apportioned for accounting purposes in the sale agreement at 25% of the total purchase price.
